In Loving Memory of Corinne Malanca ❤️
I am deeply saddened to share the news that my best friend, my wife, my business partner, but most of all, my soulmate, Corinne Malanca, passed away from cancer on October 19th, 2017. Corinne was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the end of June.
With our faith, belief system and medical cannabis knowledge, there was no doubt in our minds that we were going to beat this horrendous disease. The cannabis protocols that we used were incorporated daily, along with other healing treatments to fight this terrible disease.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the fastest spreading cancers with a low percentage outcome, and the diagnosis simply came too late.
Corinne and I embarked on this mission together nearly 12 years ago when medical cannabis saved her father Stan’s life from stage 4 lung cancer and METS to the brain. Corinne and I devoted our lives to helping others. United Patients Group was formed to guide, educate and inform others (patients, families, pharmacists, medical institutions and governments) about the healing benefits of medical cannabis.
She was very passionate about our work and proud of all the lives changed and saved as a result of our collective efforts.
In her name, I will continue the work at United Patients Group that she and I started together.
I thank you for all of the outreach we have received.
Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
John Malanca

I’m so sorry for your loss. She was such a sweet person. Always there when you needed her. I wasn’t aware of her diagnosis, but knew something was up when I reached out to her to ask a q, when my son was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure. He’s doing ok. I am praying for you and your family. I know you’ll be great at carrying on her legacy.

I am deeply sorry for your loss,Corinne was a great woman, as are you John, for starting this organization, it has helped so many people & also educated many doctors & pharmacies as well. Legalization in every state in the USA is direly needed. in my state,( Connecticut) it is only legal for smoking in adults,, which I believe is so wrong, So keep your org. going strong in her memory.. with my deepest condolences many prayers go out to you & your family .
UPG Staff says
Hi Kristine,

I have just stumbled across your site through a Facebook group called C.K.C. Cannabis Kills Cancer. I am researching the effects of cannabis on brain cancer for my 11 year old daughter. So thank you for your work.
I want to offer my sincere condolences for the loss of your beautiful wife. My 68 year old, vibrant Mom died of pancreatic cancer. No family history, she never spent a day in the hospital for anything, took no medications to speak of. Had some heartburn for several years, then bloating. She was diagnosed late May and was gone at the beginning of August! I did not know about cannabis in 2013 and now that I do, her loss has been haunting me, with feeling like we could have saved her. So while I am sincerely saddened by the heartache I know you are enduring, I want you to know your words, have put me a bit at ease. The fact is, my Mom was very late stage at the time of finding it. It was incredibly aggressive and out of my control. I rest only in the fact of her deep and abiding faith in the Lord Jesus, knowing we will be together again soon. Life is short. I pray you will wake renewed each day in the knowledge she is well again and that your work is so so important! This isn’t the end friend! May God comfort you and keep you close. I’m sorry that such grief is yours to endure. Thank you again for your work and for your wife’s legacy lived out in you. Gratefully, Melissa

This is truly heartbreaking. My heart goes out to everyone affected. It’s the work that you undertake that will, hopefully, 1 day push society past this draconian prohibition, and put this medicine into the hands of everyone. Keep up the good fight.

Dear John,
God Bless you and stay strong. I was also shocked and deeply saddened by Corrine’s passing. I have tried to watch many of the Sacred Plant series, and admired Corrine so much for her knowledge and inner and outer beauty and dedication to helping others. Thank you for continuing to fight for human rights and bring this information to the people. I am personally grateful for your guidance. My heart is heavy today, but I believe she is in a better place.
Thank you, Mel H.

I was catching up on the series and decided to see if I could find your website, only to discover your wife’s death. Oh how sad I am for you; I can only imagine. You have my heartfelt and deepest condolences.
Your continuation of the work you and she started will surely bring honor and glory to both her and our Lord Jesus Christ. You will be blessed many-fold for the challenges God has set upon you. Be strong and of good courage! He who has given these to you will make the way for you to accomplish them all.
Praying for you.

It is hard to believe Corinne is gone. I lost my brother to pancreatic cancer three years ago. I still miss him. He started using marijuana during chemo for nausea and I believe it did give him relief. That is why I have followed your programs—I am sure alternative medicine and marijuana is more effective and less invasive & destructive than chemo! Your work is important to so many—keep at it! I hope time removes some of your heartbreak.

My heart sank when I saw this on your site today. I met you and Corinne at the Best Answers for Cancer conference last year in San Diego. She made me feel warm and welcome and when I shared with her I was writing a book on alternative cancer treatments and the stories of those who used them she included me in your classes and we had great talks. What a beautiful relationship I witnessed with the two of you, the kind we all wish to have. My deepest love and prayers go to you and your family and all who knew her best. Thank you for your mission and the education you give us all. God Bless!

John,
I am truly devastated and shocked to hear about Corrine. I am a loyal listener and supporter and was just listening to your most recent WEbinars when I went to your online page and saw her beautiful picture and memorial. My first thought was I must be reading this wrong….I have spoken to you both a few times over the past couple of years, and you steered me towards excellent help and phone consultations. How horrible that she could not be saved, when you both gave all you have to help others!
May the Lord send you comfort in your grief and strength to continue your mission, and may you always know Corrine will always be with you . My deepest condolences. The world needs more people like you and Corrine. May you be continually blessed for all you do for others. With great sadness, Debbie Stern

John, I am so sorry to hear about Corrine. She was a calm spirit that brought sense to a very confusing subject. She helped so many. What you both started has opened the door to understanding the truth about Cannabis, and I for one am very grateful to both of you.
Life can certainly be a mystery and hard to understand. But thank God she was here to open the door to so much knowledge for so many she never knew or met, but touched so deeply.
Be at peace John,
Bless you

Gerrick Busl says
Dear John and UPG Staff,
I am so sorry to learn that Corrine has lost the good fight against the Beast named Pancreatic Cancer. As a relative newcomer to the family of PanCan Victims, I only hope that I can emulate her battle against this Monster within me! I just celebrated the first Anniversary of my diagnosis 5 days ago. Yes, I do mean celebrated, because the diagnosing Oncologist told me on that dreadful day last year that I had Pancreatic Cancer and would have only a 2% chance of surviving six months to one year, that’s only a 1 in 49 chance of being here today to write this heartfelt message! He told me that those were my odds IF I consented to Chemo Therapy and Radiation, Surgery was already ruled out. I had already ruled out Traditional Treatment in favor of Alternative and Holistic Treatment that, in my humble opinion offered me a much better chance of being cured than destroying my entire immune system with drugs and the side effects making me wish I was dead already, or destroying healthy tissue with radiation. I knew of no one who had survived cancer with Traditional treatment and a huge number of folks that suffered needlessly and died anyway! For the first ten months of treatment kept the Beast at bay and my Pancreatic tumor mass grew only 11%; at the one year mark, the metastatic tumors in my right lung had finally grown large enough to officially classify them as cancerous, between 1 and 1.5 cm in diameter. Considering that the Diagnosing Oncologist told me very matter of factly that my tumors would very likely double in size every 30 days, needless to say, I am thrilled to have missed THAT prediction by a mile!
I am terribly disappointed to have never met Corrine and really only learned of her heroic fight and dedication to helping others after her battle was over, but I feel very blessed to know her and her life’s commitment to helping others fight this dread disease! Sadly, I will have to be content to cherish other people’s memories of her especially your’s, John. Thank you so much for carrying on the good fight in her memory and continuing to share her with us who need what she had!! May God bless you richly, John and UPG Staff, and give you a double measure of that peace that passes understanding! I will keep you in my prayers daily.

John,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. She will definitely be missed. I have watched your docu-series and some interviews. I have learned a lot from both of you. I was diagnosed over 15 years ago with Thymoma. It has spread to several different places and continues to grow. I live in MI. I could not get a medical card due to both of my jobs. In November recreational use passed so now I’m planning on trying cannabis. Thank you for everything you do and have done. Prayers and God Bless.
