Welcome to the UPG Cancer Center
I’ve heard it said by many people that hearing these three words, you-have-cancer, instills fear beyond what they thought possible.
I have heard those words said to the most important person in my life, so I understand the terror.
This is one of the main reasons we launched this Cancer Center…to help those in need. To give you Hope, NOT false Hope.
We will dive into the latest in cancer care, cannabis, and provide many helpful tips and guidance.
Yes, I have been on both sides of the cannabis and cancer discussion, and here are some of my suggestions:
- Add cannabis to your cancer treatment if possible.
Once the shock wears off, most of us go into fight mode. In cancer therapy and in the treatment of cancer with cannabis, we have some symptom help and actual cancer fighting abilities.
- Build a care team. Some patients have significant others who grow cannabis for them.
- Have someone to talk to. Many cancer centers have support groups.
- Become your own expert. No one knows your body like you do.
- Doubt the prognosis. No one knows what tomorrow brings.
- Hope. Remember, healings and remissions happen everyday.
Cancer is unique, and like cancer, cannabis is not a one size fits all. Get a good cannabis doctor or contact our team at United Patients Group for help. We are here for you.
As you may know, in 2011, my father in law had a complete remission of terminal lung cancer yet my beautiful, young, healthy wife passed from pancreatic cancer.
Life throws us the most amazing curveballs, yet even in the worst of times, love wins. Even though Corinne succumbed to her disease, our love grew stronger every day. It was the greatest of all gifts.
Let the ones you love express it.
Be Informed. Be well.
