What is the endocannabinoid system? The endocannabinoid system is actually the molecular system responsible for regulating and balancing many processes in the body including immune response, communication between cells, appetite, metabolism, and memory to name just a few here. Did you know that every mammal has an endocannabinoid system? The way I like to think about it is that our endocannabinoid system actually creates cannabinoids so it is bringing the body back to homeostasis, bringing the body back to balance. I truly believe it is like a vitamin that everyone should do and use for health and wellness. Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body- in the brain in the organs in the connective tissues and in the glands and most importantly in the immune system. If you have not discovered the endocannabinoid system or you haven’t had this discussion with your Doctor, pls do so. It is a big part of our body and actually brings our bodies back to balance as I mentioned earlier -homeostasis.
