Dear John,
My name is Denise. I am 68 and disabled from a brain injury that happened in 2012. After the injury (which involved many other pain inducing injuries to my body) I could only sleep about three and a half hours a night at the most. It was so serious I nearly died three times over the years due to lack of sleep and my digestive track shutting down. Unfortunately, the doctors missed the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and instead spent many months enduring a variety of invasive tests looking for cancer.
After wasting away to 87 pounds from 122 pounds, I began using my own Holistic Practitioner skills to save my life. Full spectrum tinctures increased my sleep up to about 6 hours for a few years, and just this past year I began to sleep 7 to 8 hours most nights as long as I do the tincture/oil and/or tablets. All these years I have been practicing daily breathing exercises, Tibetan Meditation, Qigong, and I am a certified Yoga instructor.
I am still housebound many days a week with pain and weakness, but I live independently, and am gradually adjusting to a “small” life. I can’t travel at all anymore. I was a world traveler, mountain climber, and my life was so extraordinary, I rarely read fiction.
Now I do.
Thank you,
Denise
