Steve, you’ve been one of the leading voices in the hemp industry since 2016 – can you share with our community a little about yourself, and how you started Steve’s Goods?

My story with this deeply medicinal herb began a long time ago as a recreational consumer of cannabis. Then, in my mid 40s I began to experience chronic pain and neurological symptoms from repressed PTSD as a younger man. I've since made many lifestyle changes to reduce stress on my mind and body, and have turned to many different products and services to support my healing and recovery, including hemp paste.

Cannabis and humans have a very long history together - nearly 6,000 years in fact! - and this relationship has taken many forms throughout the years. In Asia, thousands of years ago, it’s said that the people of the era used it for medicinal purposes.

My earliest memory is of my mother and I having dinner.  I remember her backhanding me so hard that I toppled over, chair and all. My crime? I smacked my lips. I was only 3 or 4 years old.

I am in Toronto Ontario. We have federal and provincial legal cannabis laws for medicine and recreation and we can grow our own plants indoors or outside. My whole family has greatly benefited from cannabis use.
