We welcomed 2021 and looked forward the year ahead. My hope for you and your family as spring has sprung, is peace, happiness & healing. I am so sorry for the loss of your Corinne and how difficult this was and continues to be.
Thank you John, for sharing your journey of grief with us. Grateful you are finding relief and healing through the power of prayer, breath, meditation, and taking breaks from all the busyness of the world to reconnect with nature and self. I have found these techniques and principles to be very helpful in my healing journey, and something I continue to practice daily.
I’ve had my own loss to cope with over the past few years. My sister passed at 35 years of age due to health complications in June of 2017. In August of 2020, 2 days before my 48th birthday her son, my nephew, was murdered at the hands of the father. I wanted to help my sister and yet I couldn’t get to her in time. As to the tragedy of my nephew, I begged and pleaded after her death that her boys not be left in his care. Sadly, my intuition was right again!
I share that to say yoga, breathing, solitude, and nature have been and continue to help me cope and move through my loss and grief.
I would like to submit a story for hope in honor of Corinne, your father, and my sister.
Thanks so much for all you do.
Warm Regards,
Carrie Hudson
